For me it's about trying to change a few simple habits which can make a huge difference. I will give you a few simple tips for reducing your plastic consumption. 

Insulated and reusable mugs are a necessity for hot beverage loving commuters, campers, hikers and tea enthusiasts. Coffee and tea mugs are often used multiple times a day but we don't always have time to clean them thoroughly after every use. Improper cleaning can cause residue getting stuck inside the lid. If not regularly cleaned, this residue can lead to a smell or taste tarnishing your cup. 

When comparing stainless steel water bottles vs. plastic drink bottles, you will find that the stainless steel bottles are more cost effective in the long run due to their durability. Stainless steel bottles are generally made to last and often have a sophisticated insulated design. Unlike regular plastic water bottles, insulated drink bottles have double walls to maintain insulation, which also makes insulated bottles more durable. Plastic water bottles only have one layer which does not offer insulation from outside temperatures. An insulated bottle can last unto 10 years, while a plastic bottle can last as little as a week before it quality degrades when exposed to the sun, releasing toxic chemicals in your water.

Our water bottles are refilled and reused everyday. Reusable water bottles not only helps us hydrate but also saves the environment from plastic waste generated from single use bottles. The cost of refilling and reusing our water bottle is much cheaper than the cost of plastic pollution affecting the marine life and our oceans.
